Thank You Cards

Posted on February 13, 2008. Filed under: Multimedia |

 Thank You Cards

Name:              Create a Thank You Card for a teacher that has helped, inspired, or worked to                             -wared a goal with you

Activity:        In this exercise, you will take a digital camera. You will scour the hallways for objects that might create letters. (remember examples on “field trip”) After all of the letters have been photographed that spell the words “Thank You” you will go back to class and import those images into Photoshop, save as a jpg, and then insert image into Word.  To make a card, you will fold the card in half, so the letters (images) need to be on the bottom half of the page. The images may need to be cropped. After inserting the picture, right-click on it and select Format Picture, then go to the Layout Tab and select In Front of Text.  After arranging the photos on the page, you are ready to print on cardstock. Print in color, fold the document, write your message on the inside. Remember to write their name inside. Mrs. D will deliver the card to them for you.

Supplies:          Digital camera, Adobe Photoshop, color printer, Microsoft Word

Deliverables:   You will turn in your completed card.

Reflection:       How important is it to say Thank You? Share your ideas with the class.
